Cutis – Alka Seltzer

In 1992 I went to San Francisco in December to attend the big annual convention for dermatologists — the “AAD” as it is known.  I got the flu while I was there and bought some Alka Selzer to try calming my stomach so I could go to the lectures and get some Christmas shopping done.  I addressed the envelope to my very good friend Tim Brown who is a gastroenterologist in Yakima, Washington, as I kept thinking of him through all my discomfort.
