Kiva – Prickly Pear Cactus

I have 3X backpacked across the Grand Canyon in Arizona. I spent a wonderful five days doing it each time — sleeping in my tent, and starting early each morning before the heat of the day. Along the way you pass many prickly pear cactus. One year, they were in bloom with this red buds and I went by one with a hole in the middle which to me made it look like a choir boy singing his heart out………..
