La Dolce Vita – Focaccia

Here is a shot of the bakery in Bellagio where I would buy the focaccia bread:

DESiGN:
When we were staying in Bellagio,Italy — a bakery there made really good focaccia bread.  I loved to sit out on our hotel room deck with a glass of beer, the focaccia and look out over Lake Como, the Italian Alps and the ferries.  I painted this looking down at the pattern of depressions on the surface of the bread ……trying not to eat it all before I finished the painting.
