Pau – Boules

My family spent a week on a canal boat in France and then spent a week around Avignon.  In that countryside one can see men playing boules in most villages.  It is a wonderful game for socializing and reminds me a bit of shuffleboard or curling.  The little green ball is the marker that they aim for and the distance from which — the score is derived.
