8-28-17  Back from the total solar eclipse in Oregon.  Wow !  Totality lasting about 90 seconds was amazing including the temperature drop, the darkening, the color shift and the quiet.  Mailed 2 pigeons in Bend — one is back already, the other missing in action so far………..bruce
