seven summits – viagra

COUNTRY:
seven summits

DESIGN:
Aconcagua is 22,840 feet high and the tallest peak in South America — is the 2nd highest of the seven summits series — only Everest is higher.  The denomination on the stamp is 6P indicating the 6th highest.  Viagra is a drug designed for “erectile dysfunction” but it was found to be helpful with altitude sickness. So it not only helps get you “up” but it helps get you “up the mountain”.  An amazing coincidence ?  Regrettably, the Argentinians didn’t postmark either stamp….maybe they were busy looking up the meaning of Viagra…….

MAILED:
by Dick Tucker in Mendoza, Argentina after taking this pigeon all the way to the top of Aconcagua !
