Steens – Hoot Owl

On the east side of Steens country there is only one store in a very small gathering of buildings known as Fields Station. A great horned owl lives across the street in a big, old cottonwood tree, . At night you can hear him give out his eerie hoot over and over in the quiet darkness of a desert night.
